About the session...

Culture has the power to influence and even derail just about any process inside an organization, and facilitation is no exception. But we often discount culture as something too complex or hard to define, so we’re often not aware of its impact until it’s too late. In this webinar, culture expert Jamie Notter will not only provide a clear and actionable definition of culture, he will show you how to spot specific patterns within a culture and use that knowledge to improve the effectiveness of your facilitation.

Objectives

Participants will:

  • Define workplace culture and its impact on facilitation
  • Identify specific patterns within workplace culture that have the biggest impact on facilitation
  • Develop strategies for adjusting facilitation techniques to account for the impact of culture patterns.

About the Presenter
Jamie is an author and culture designer at Human Workplaces, where he helps leaders drive growth and engagement by aligning workplace culture with success. With 25 years of experience in conflict resolution, generational differences, and culture change, Jamie is also the author of three books—Humanize, When Millennials Take Over, and The Non-Obvious Guide to Employee Engagement—and holds a Master’s in conflict resolution from George Mason and a certificate in Organization Development from Georgetown, where he also serves as adjunct faculty.
