Discussion on Featured Book: Leading With Dignity: How to Create a Culture That Brings Out the Best in People by Donna Hicks, Ph.D
As facilitators and learning and development professionals we spend a great deal of time and effort helping & supporting leaders, managers, teams, and individuals to build organizations and relationships that are respectful, empathetic and trustful. Dr. Hicks’ book on Leading with Dignity is a straightforward approach to bring the concept of honoring dignity into our practice as facilitators and into our work with leaders and organizations. Over the course of the two sessions there will be prereading and thinking questions for our conversations about the impact of having a facilitation practice built on dignity and how best to educate and support leaders of organizations to build a culture based on dignity.
Please note that this is for MAFN members only and there is limited space, so please register early. The two sessions will build on each other, so participation in both is strongly encouraged. Be sure to register for the second session here: Conversation on Facilitation CoP: Leading with Dignity by Donna Hicks (Members Only) Part 2
