Duration: 2-hour workshop
About the workshop:
Imagine you are facilitating or leading a problem-solving session, and someone says something confrontational. Tension rises, and all eyes turn to you. What do you do?
One of the most powerful tools in the facilitator toolkit is paraphrasing. But in the heat of the moment, how do you choose what to reflect back? What would it take to uncover and express a positive value or quality hidden in a challenging remark? This workshop will offer a framework to help paraphrase confrontational contributions in ways that foster connection and understanding across divides.
Learning Objectives:
NOTE: This workshop will be recorded for distribution to all who register (breakout rooms will not be recorded).
