Duration: 2-hour workshop
About the workshop:
Join us for a hands-on workshop designed for facilitators, corporate trainers, and event planners. Learn how to transform those oft-forgotten laissez-faire parts of an agenda – such as breaks, meals, registration, and receptions – into impactful moments that add engagement. Using the Conference Engagement Toolkit that is derived from years of facilitating large and small retreats and conferences, you'll reimagine sample agendas and enhance your own event design skills. We’ll focus on the areas of events beyond the working sessions where facilitators traditionally apply their skills. Discover how to make every moment count!
Learning Objectives:
In this session, participants will:
1) Identify Opportunities for Engagement - Learn to recognize and leverage often-overlooked moments such as breaks, meals, and registration periods to enhance participant engagement and interaction.
2) Apply Interactive Techniques - Explore and practice specific tactics from the Conference Engagement Toolkit to make event downtime more engaging and meaningful.
3) Enhance Event Agendas - Work hands-on with sample agendas, learning to incorporate interactive elements that build connections and foster a sense of community.
NOTE: This workshop will be recorded for distribution to all who register (breakout rooms will not be recorded).
This is a 2-hour workshop. It will take place starting at 12:00pm EDT.
