(Members Only) MAFN Coaching CoP: All Things Coaching Assessments

Duration: 60-Minutes 

Join us for the next meeting of the MAFN Coaching Community of Practice (CoP). We had a great turnout for our relaunch of the CoP in March and are excited to bring coaches back together!

We listened to the topic interests you shared at our relaunch, and we're responding with a session to discuss all things coaching assessments.  Whether you use a customized 360 profile, Leadership Circle Profile, DiSC, Predictive Index, or something else, let’s discuss the how, why, impact, and efficacy of assessments related to our coaching.  

We will discuss the following questions, as well as others you all bring to the table:

• What assessment tools do you use in your coaching practice, and how do you use them?
• How do you integrate assessment results into the coaching process without letting the tool ‘drive’ the coaching?
• How do you handle situations where clients feel labeled, limited, or misunderstood by an assessment result?
• What follow‑up practices help turn assessment data into sustainable behavior change or growth?
• In what ways do the assessments you use align or perhaps conflict with your coaching philosophy or values?

Learning Objectives

In this session, participants will:

• Discuss assessment tools used in coaching: the value and risks/limitations of these tools
• Discuss the future of assessment tools: what’s on the horizon? Where does AI come into play?
• Discuss the bridge Coaches can create between assessment tool results and client behavior shifts
