About the workshop:
Many facilitation challenges involve problems with no single right answer.
In this three-session online learning series, participants will experience how adapted business cases and structured facilitation methods can create engaging learning experiences that help groups navigate ambiguity, explore competing perspectives, and build collective sensemaking. Through progressively complex cases, reflection, and collaborative practice, participants will analyze facilitation decisions, experiment with practical techniques, and adapt the approach to their own contexts.
The series is designed for facilitators who want to confidently design and lead conversations where complexity becomes a source of learning rather than an obstacle.
Learning Objectives
In this session, participants will
Design case-based learning experiences that help groups explore complex challenges with multiple legitimate perspectives rather than seeking a single correct answer.
Facilitate productive dialogue by balancing psychological safety, productive tension, and structured participation throughout a learning experience.
Guide groups from divergent perspectives toward collective sensemaking, helping participants generate shared insights that they can transfer to their own facilitation practice.

Dr. Marta Jakowczyk is a facilitator, educator, and sustainability professional with over 15 years of experience designing collaborative learning and transformation initiatives across industry and higher education. She combines systems thinking, business leadership, and participatory facilitation to help groups navigate complex challenges and learn through dialogue. Marta is a certified facilitator through Voltage Control and has designed and facilitated workshops for MBA students, executives, and cross-functional teams. She is particularly interested in case-based learning, collective sensemaking, and the role of AI in strengthening human capabilities and collaboration.
