Dave Gray is an entrepreneur, author, and consultant who has facilitated hundreds of meetings, both in person and online. Dave uses participatory design methods to facilitate meetings, using sticky notes, whiteboards, index cards and other very visual methods that don't translate very easily into online meetings.

In this session Dave will share some challenges and successful practices for facilitating work with remote teams, and he will provide participants an early preview of a tool he is developing to change the way we facilitate group meetings online. This will be somewhat of an experimental session, as you will not just watch a demo, but you will actually use and experience the tool in a live, real-time participatory session.

So be ready for a lot of fun and perhaps a little chaos as we collaboratively experiment with a brand new thing.

All participants will receive an access code which will allow them early access to this online tool (currently in private beta).

Dave Gray is the founder of the design consultancy XPLANE, which was acquired by the Dachis Group in 2010. His current project is Boardthing, a collaboration platform for distributed teams.Dave has authored two books on design, change and innovation, Gamestorming, a practical handbook for innovators and change agents, and The Connected Company, is a strategic blueprint for businesses who want to innovate and lead in the next century. He is currently working on a third book, Principles of Agility, which is due out in early 2015. Dave serves as a strategic adviser to a select group of clients, and delivers keynotes and hands-on workshops on topics related to innovation, culture and change.
