Summary of Experience
Shoba is a Certified Master Facilitator® (INIFAC), Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Scrum Master and CTI trained coach; with over 20 years’ worth of experience in the organizational and learning and development fields. She founded Innovation Matrix LLC, which specializes in strategy retreats, work-planning sessions; team and leadership development.
Her facilitated workshops create a safe, structured space for tough conversations and clear decisions; teams leave aligned on priorities with owners, timelines, and next steps. She co-authored Collaboration by Design, a field manual that explains how to plan and lead effective workshops, with guidance on group dynamics and facilitation techniques. Beyond facilitation, she creates engaging adult-learning experiences involving rigorous instructional design, proven frameworks, real world application opportunities and multiple feedback loops.
Shoba has worked across the Asia Pacific and the United States. She serves commercial, government, and nonprofit organizations, with clients including Google Mastery Academy, Singapore Airlines, BNP Paribas Bank, and Turner Kids. While in Singapore she also served as adjunct faculty with the Civil Service College, partnering with the Institute of Leadership and Organization Development to build leadership capability across the entire Civil Service.
Shoba holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of New South Wales and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from The University of Sydney, Australia.
