Biography
I'm Linda Howard, CEO & Principal Consultant at Howard Consulting LLC.
I partner with mid-sized nonprofits facing big changes like rapid growth, high turnover, or major shifts in their organization. I help them come together, find their stride, and work more effectively through these transitions.
I firmly believe that the strength of an organization lies in its people. When teams truly understand each other, communicate effectively, and build strong, trusting relationships, they not only perform better but also significantly boost the impact of their organization's mission.
There's something magical that happens when team members feel connected and can collaborate seamlessly: they channel their energy into creating lasting, meaningful change. This is exactly why I am passionate about this work.
On a personal note, I spent my early years in rural southern Indiana. After many years of city life, I moved back to the country - a farming community in Maryland.
I felt like I could breathe again! I love the outdoors, and you can often find me wandering in the woods, kayaking on a peaceful lake, or searching for a quiet place to enjoy the next sunset.

I am also the Virtual Workshop Producer for the MAFN. That means I produce the workshops, recruit and prepare speakers, prepare promotional materials, and train and coordinate a team of tech hosts and moderator for very interactive facilitated workshops with up to 100 participants.
