Duration: 90-minute workshop
About the workshop:
Games are an excellent way for people to learn and practice new skills individually, but they can be even more powerful as a vehicle for people to learn and grow together. Great collective play experiences result in a team that holds even more value than just the sum of its parts.
In this webinar, we are going to explore how not only playing games, but also creating games with others is such a valuable experience for building stronger team culture and cohesion. Alex Suchman and Peter Williamson, two co-founders of Barometer XP, will talk about how to create a game that facilitates collective growth. The webinar includes playing a few of Barometer’s games, a breakdown of the game-creation process, and a behind-the-scenes case study of how Barometer applied the process to build their signature game, Balloon.
