About the workshop: 

The interactive session will introduce MAFN participants to an innovative and constantly evolving spatial audio site: Spatial.Chat. Participants will learn how to create a customized online experience and bring Spatial.Chat to their teams and clients. Spatial.Chat is a virtual space and venue that mimics the physical experience where online guests can meet and talk. It recreates in-person networking and social events, and real-life social interactions. Tanja Sarett has been tapping into spatial audio sites since they launched. She has led train-the-trainer sessions on spatial audio sites and published about these latest online platforms.

NOTE: This session is limited to the first 50 people who register. All additional registrants will be placed on a Wait List.  If there is sufficient interest, we may run this session again at a later date.

We will NOT be recording this session because Spatial.Chat does not offer recording. Please register ONLY if you will attend in person. If your plans change, please let us know so we can offer your spot to someone else on the wait list.

NOTE: Spatial.chat works only laptop or desktop computer and does NOT support phones or tablets.  It also works best with a Chrome browser.

Tanja Sarett, M.A., CFRE, CVF, is an onsite and virtual facilitator, trainer, and executive/leadership coach and increases the capacity of nonprofits to generate revenue through major gifts and donor engagement. Tanja brings to her work a wide range of collaborative and creative techniques and tools from IDEO Design Thinking, Liberating Structures, the Technology of Participation, and the Agile community. Tanja’s passion is tapping into innovative online tools and interactive platforms and teaching other facilitators and trainers how to use them effectively. Train the trainer sessions have included Zoom, Mural, Butter, and various spatial audio sites like Kumospace, Wonder, and Spatial.Chat.

  • Registered participants will receive instructions for joining the live session and any additional details 1 day in advance and the morning of the event. Please be sure to look for the link in your email.
  • Workshops begin promptly at 12:00PM EST.  Please log on at least 15 minutes in advance to ensure your internet connections, audio and other settings are functioning properly.
