Through their Applied Improvisation program, Highwire Improv teaches foundational theatrical improv skills, including mental agility and resilience under pressure, to help teams work more creatively and collaboratively.
In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn practical strategies for using improv to infuse your engagements with energy, creativity and laughter. This is a ‘train the trainer’ event, whereby attendees will have the opportunity to facilitate exercises with one another.
Learning Objectives
In this session, participants will:
How to create and maintain psychological safety within a group
How to effectively facilitate improv-based exercises (including explanation, demonstration, facilitation and debrief)
How to navigate common challenges associated with using improv as a facilitation tool
