MAFN members, do you miss seeing your fellow facilitator friends in person? Are there members you’ve only met online? Potential members, would you like to meet some of our members and get a feel for MAFN’s friendliness and collegiality? Come to our free in-person Social at Locavino in downtown Silver Spring! Friday March 21, 12pm-2pm.

It’s been a while since MAFN members have had the chance to meet in person just to catch up with each other and make new friends. Take this opportunity to gather right after the March in-person workshop, at Locavino in downtown Silver Spring, adjacent to the workshop location. Don’t worry, if you can’t attend the workshop, you’re still welcome to attend the social!
We’ll have informal time to mingle and catch up, plus a few fun activities led by fellow members Dawn Rhine and Andrea Dunathan to help you make some new connections and get to know one another. If you’re hungry or thirsty, try Locavino’s delicious food, wine, and beer. (We’ll cover your non-alcoholic beverage of choice, thanks to the member sponsoring the event.)
Transit: a few blocks from Silver Spring Metro station; or bus stop on Fenton St & Ellsworth Dr.
Parking: surface lot accessible from Wayne Ave or Pershing Dr (strict 2 hour limit, crowded); Wayne Avenue garage; Town Square garage.

Participants are asked to stay home if they have any COVID-19 symptoms, including runny nose, fever, cough, breathing issues, or gastrointestinal issues.
