Each month, we will have a topic or theme as well as open time for networking and sharing challenges and best practices in our facilitation.
TOPIC:
Marketing Facilitation: Open Space Discussion
DESCRIPTION:
The June salon will build on the May session, which began to generate a description of what facilitators bring to a setting. Some of these benefits are: we provide safety, connection, and trust that allows participants to have hopes for future directions and room to address fears. We create physical and emotional engagement with methods and tools, identifying shared results, values, aspirations, or futures. The June salon will take this topic further in an open space discussion. We will ask: what are some ways to demonstrate the value of facilitation to people who don’t already know what facilitation is or how it is valuable? Then we will choose one or more suggestions to form into an outline action plan.
Afterwards, those who are available are invited to stay and share community over lunch.
Please note that this is for MAFN members only and there is limited space, so please register early.
